Nuri Serteser / ITUWIND – Coordinator

In 1989, he graduated from Istanbul Technical University, Faculty of Architecture, Department of Architecture. He studied Master and Ph.D. at Istanbul Technical University Graduate School of Science, Engineeering and Technology/ Building Science Program. In the USA, he was in post-doctoral research at the University of Maryland Fire Protection Engineering Department. In the ITU Faculty of Architecture, he carried out researches and experimental studies on wind control in building design, wind effects on the façade, building aerodynamics and prevention of the wind discomfort in urban areas. The effect of the wind in architectural design is being studied and the output information is used in the academic works which then used as design data. Moreover, activities are being carried out in the framework of industry-university collaboration.

İlker Karadağ / ITUWIND – Numerical & Experimental Analyzes   (karadagi@itu.edu.tr)
